right, oil guage problem - really getting to me!

think there may be a loose/duff connection somewhere, however all appears well to me untrained eye. the real probelm is, i've no idea what it's supposed to display!!!!!!

just wondering if someone could take a few minutes to decribe normal operations for me??????

mine sees ok one minute (showing 6bar or something) but totally drops (like someone has pulled out the plug) the other minute, gettinmg a bit freaked out...

oph yeah, have read chiarks stuff, which was good to check that everything looked okay. oh, and one final thing, the scoob's own oil pressure light still comes on before firing up - is this normal? - i read somewhere that the guage wiring/mech disables it???
