Question

on my STi5 the front squirters have stopped working. there are two pumps on the wash bottle, the back one sees 12v and is OK but the front one sees nothing so i think its the relay. i cant find the relay in the box under the bonnet so there must be another relay box somewhere. can anyone tell me where it is?

stu.

Don't have a scooby specific answer but no other car I've ever worked on has a relay for the washer pump. The current draw of the pump isn't high enough to need it, the switch on the column works it directly.

If you're sure there's a relay then pull the wire off the rear pump (to silence it) then get someone to work the switch for the rear pump and go searching for the relay click. The front relay is likely to be in the same place.

If not then I'd say you have a problem with the switch on the column.
