SPA gauge / others with senders

Has anyone fitted one of these, or one with a similar fixing/reading method? That's a 1/8 BSP or 1/8 NPT hole (12.7mm deep), somewhere... inlet manifold anywhere? Or is drilling 
required?

What does the SPA gauge measure? There are a variety of points for different things. Chiark's pages might be a good place to start http://www.chiark.com. Take a look in the Scooby section, and then gauges....

That is a very good point 
completely forgot to say what it was measuring 
Boost, this one. Well, and some other stuff, but I can do those. It has a sender which needs to bolt directly into something with the pressure it's trying to measure, rather than taking a tube from the top of the inlet manifold, which is the bit I am having trouble with!
