Default 2002 bugeye wrx alarm/immobiliser issues

Hi all, need some help.

Lost my only key fob, ordered new one cut from dealer, got that, fits all locks.

Punched in my pin in the keypad to try program the key in, which it accepted all codes (with a bleep etc) but didn't program the key in....

Got an auto locksmith out and he programmed the key in to the system but couldn't program the letters entry/alarm remote as it seemed it had locked out the system.... so as the alarm has been constantly going off, I've removed the siren (will reconnect later) to leave it half an hour to see if that let's me punch the codes in again.... ill update soon as I can.

The code wouldn't shut off the alarm... but it worked to disable the alarm this morning...so hence why I think it's locked me out...

Hopefully after the 'lock out' I can punch in the code and disable the alarm to program the new key fob in

Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks guys.

Ste.

Hi guys, update...

So my key has been programmed to the car (not the remote locking aide of it yet)

So with entering the pin code in the keypad, I'm able to start the car. (Success!) But still have no remote locking/alarm...

I have tried to program the new key in with **AAAA*91*1#

A=pin code
1=number of key fobs to program

And the car beeps after entering pin and as soon as I press the last hash, which is normal.... but then when I press my remote key to match it to the system nothing happens...

Any idea? Tried a few times now...

All help and ideas welcomed!

Thanks
