So you want to fit hids to the standard reflector units rather than the projector types?
If so, dont, they will scatter light everywhere and you will get pulled over for them as they arent designed for that type of light.
I went and bought a set of STI projectors and added a HID kit and the light output and definition is absolutely fine.

My understanding is that he has an OE Xenon kit from another car, JDM???, and wants to know how to fit it?

I have a feeling this is another of those, "does anyone know where to buy a loom?" questions.

If so, buy this: http://www.lightwerkz.net/index.php/...d-harness.html

It's then plug'n'play. However, you do need to ground both sets of lights in order to keep the dipped beam on when you turn on main beam, you NEED to do this otherwise you will have a moment of zero lights as the dipped lights switch back on.

On the JDM OEM units, there will be a ground wire from the ballasts that attach to the mounting brackets. If not using the brackets, you need to extend and connect this wire to the ground points on each side of the engine bay.
