Default Red LED reflectors

hi guys

has anyone ever fitted anything like these as they look like they would show off the back of the car well...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221924483871...xe=exe,ext=ext

or how easy would they be to fit into the existing lights etc on the back of the car.

and if they are an exact fit they would look as if they were factory fitted

thoughts please

The car MUST have reflectors by law, part of lighting regs.
Do those work as reflectors as well as aux lights/

TBH, I HATE that sort of thing. At one time, with 5W running lights, it was easy to see which car/lorry was barking and which wasn't. With the advent of super bright LED rear lights, not so any more. AWFUL in the wet too. Lorries are the worst...but hey, who needs to know if a lorry is braking:

Just like daylight running lights that are being fitted more and more. They illuminate the dash lights so spackers are driving around with no proper lights on......

ha ha, you should live here, half the town drives around with headlights and ONE FOGLIGHT all day

I sometimes think that 99% of UK drivers are sharing a brain cell.

I fitted these to my wife's hatch as part of reworking the rear lights with the clear JDM cluster. The rework gives a pair of reversing lights, and relocates the fog lights to those items down in the bumper.

Yes, they are reflectors too, and are wired to be additional tail lights that then illuminate more brightly to be fog lights.

There's a thread on it somewhere here.
