I remember seeing it flying around Prestwick after doing its display at Ayr. I remember wondering why it was still flying around the area.
The audience were never told they had declared an emergency. I only found out tonight when I saw it on telly.
With all the rubbish on Telly this made a refreshing change.
Excellent just excellent! We need to see more of Guy on our tv
What an awesome plane shown in a well made program hosted by such a passionate man.

Mental, how a truckload of metal/plastic/rubber - in a certain form - can move you so much: I guess it's the human story behind the magnificent bird that is 'the thing'.
I noticed, just before the end of part two (or it might have been part one), you could just make out what was obviously a hazy image of an extremely tall tower in the background shot (XH558 was being filmed outboard, in flight)... Do you reckon it was Emley Moore communication tower?
