To those that "recorded" it - did it work?
Mine seemed to miss the first half hour, starting just before the Spitfire followed the Vulcan (with a bunch of acrobatic propeller planes?).
I'm on Freeview, and just used the programe guide yesterday afternoon to select the recording (which DID day 90 minutes).
Cheers,
mb

He says he didn't want to do TG because he felt he would always be compared to Clarkson.
No, no I don't think so Guy, you are a big enough character to be yourself and make it your own

Same here.
Genuine lump-in-the-throat time (and a tear or two), when the final flight sequence came on at the end.
Mental, how a truckload of metal/plastic/rubber - in a certain form - can move you so much: I guess it's the human story behind the magnificent bird that is 'the thing'.

I noticed, just before the end of part two (or it might have been part one), you could just make out what was obviously a hazy image of an extremely tall tower in the background shot (XH558 was being filmed outboard, in flight)... Do you reckon it was Emley Moore communication tower?
Shudder:
