Anyone any idea where you can get morettes for a classic as cant find them anywhere?

Cheers, yea seen their comment will hold of just now as got a few mechanical
things to sort first unless a second hand set come up.

Like rocking horse poo...plus the inevitable corroded inner reflectors, meaning another £50-£60 needing spent.

AFAIK, the new ones use Hella inners, which is better in two ways: they don't corrode, and they use an H3 bulb, which can be uprated, NOT the horrible H2 that can't....well, not without problems

They may even have gone over to Hella outers too.

Mine have Hella inners and outers, not sure when they were made though. Very good lights.

Work well too:

outers only, GE Megalight 60% uprated bulbs:





And with the inners lit, standard H2 55w bulbs:



But if you want REAL light, get y'self a set of Hella 1000FF's with Xenon conversion:



All 3 shots taken on a DSLR, used on manual, with the same camera settings.

If you do the wiring right, and the units you get use Hella lights, you can go with something like Osram Nightbreakers, (100% uprated), or Ring 120% uprated for the outers, and a 130W H3 for the inners.
