Default battery getting wet.............

i have just picked up a blob sti for myself and it has a vented carbon bonnet on it,now when it rains water obviously gets in the bay and onto things..........

the battery gets rain on the top,is there a battery bag available for the impreza? will it matter that the battery gets wet?

ive seen the spec r battery covers but they dont cover the terminals

Its awful but on a serious note you will struggle to get a metal cover that goes over the terminals for risk of shorting out.

Have a look in breakers etc or bay,for example the ford focus(2 a penny) have a plastic battery case

Example No 161468015413

It will fit over a subaru sized battery, might need slightly modding/trimming to fit though..............only a thought
