Default dim rear tail light nearside.

Hi everyone.would like some advice on my turbo 2000 yr 2000 electricals please. Noticed in a reflection i have a dimmer light on my tail light nearside. Its not the bulb as i have tried new ones and tried cleaning contacts/wd40 etc
Where is the earth for this lamp located.

you are on the right lines -- dim light is usually due to poor earth (i'm just not sure where to earth is tho'........!)

You need to trace the wiring back, it could be anywhere. Odds on it's the same point for the other bulbs too.

To check if it IS earth problems, run a piece of wire from the lampholder earth back to battery -ve.

Probably a earth problem but could be the bulbs of they are different brands

If you have a Phillips bulb and a 99p store bulb they can cause similar problems
