Help - indicator
I have an my00 classic Turbo 2000.
The left front indicator (in the bumper) is not working. The bulb is fine, I switched it to the other side, and got a replacement anyway.
All other indicators working fine.
Any ideas?
A relay I hope. Do you know which one? Manual seems to cover fuses only, not relays.
Thanks

If you turn on the hazard lights does it work then??
I would check the wiring before suspecting the relay, as the flasher relay controls all the indicator lights, there are no seperate relays for left/right or front/side and back.
As you have a working side and rear light on the same side I think the wiring is damaged.

You wont.
Remove the light from it's place and check the wiring you can see/reach with the indicator removed.
The indicator has a small length of wiring that runs to it, about 30 cm, then there is a wiring split to the side indicator, and that still works, so the error has to be in the last 30cm to the front indicator.
Maybe the wire has unclipped from it's clip and touched the exhaust manifold.
If it was a major short the indicator light fuse would have blown, if it was earlier in the wiring the side indicator from the same side would also stop working.
I suspect the negative wire to the indicator has rubbed through/melted/was damaged.
Do you have a multimeter or a test light??

I'll have a look.
