Default Sidelight earth location??

Hi all, I have a 99 classic, my front sidelights started flickering with my engine rpm, then went out... first the o/s shortly followed by the n/s someone I know said it is most likely a bad earth do you agree? I do not know where the location of the earth is for the front sidelights so if someone could point me int the right direction I would be of much help.

Thanks

Chris

Can't help about actual location of the earths, but how about using one of these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTO-CAR-L...item1c209d3025

To find which wire is the live to each bulb, then providing new earths yourself?
