My Partner described the previous year as Subaru City, personally I have never seem so many scoobs parked around a service area before.

cool, will c u there then, yeah irish tarmac rallies seem to be scoob magnets, at killarney a couple of weeks back i even met a dutch scoobie!!!

Will be there in my blue GT555. Donegal blokes are mad for Scoobies. Nearly every time I go for petrol in Donegal at least one person comes over to talk about the car.
Watch out for the twin cams!! These guys sit at the end of a stage waiting for the big names to come off the stage and race them to the start of the next :-)

Maybe we should arrage a meeting place on Friday night in Letterkenny so i can meet you guys. I`m just new to the forum.

I work in Belfast, so usually head back up there on Sunday night. Have been in a few times though, but I think its a bit cheezy driving up and down all night - besides when i`m driving i cant see the puss walking up and down the prom! I would be in more on a Saturday night.

Was there in 1999 and 2000, but couldn't go last year coz of foot 'n mouth.

Do you go to Port along the back road through Kilrea etc - far better road than main road - i go that way to Belfast. Can be quite quick in parts

im from cullybackey, so we mainly go through ballymoney, i have a white sti type-r with gold speedlines, wots ures then mate ( you don't drive a silver 5 door, cause i went to 'have a go' at one last sunday out towards londonderry direction but he wouldn't go)

I want to leave Derry at about half nine or ten so I can have a snoop round Mount Errigal hotel before heading to the stages. I plan on going to see stages 2,5 & 8.

Very sad indeed. I was on stage 2 two about a mile further down the road. Just makes you think. I think calling the rally off was the right thing to do. I didnt feel like watching it the rest of the weekend. Theres always next year - 2 people wont get to see it next year!
