Default New car bought - 330S

Anyone locals have many dealing with Eastwoods or know any of the staff?

I bought a new car a couple of weeks ago
Traded my 05 UK STI in
Apart from a few too many miles on it the car was 100% and I understand that one of their mechanics has bought it.

New car is worlds apart in comparison to the 05 STI.
Especially the leather Recaro's
Don't have any pics, but it looks like this one

Eastwoods seem like a decent bunch too.

Excellent choice Shaun - mucho health to enjoy mate. Just been to Eastwoods today to pick up a new motor for Mrs T as it happens.

Worked out a deal with Chris, Marty and Des that I was happy with and picked up the car today after its 30K service. Get some pics up.

The saga around our purchase is detailed on scoobyireland, as Eastwoods are now posting over there. Chris couldn't have done much more to help us out.

Quite like the diesel impreza in the showroom - will need to wait a few years for the price to drop.

It is actually stinking too

Stevie - I really like the new STI's.
The difference between that and my last MY05 STI is night and day.

Still running it in at the minute, but from the odd little burst up to about 3.5K rpm I'd say its probably gonna be quicker than my last car (and it was remapped by Andy Forrest to arount 330 bhp)
Very much more comfortable too.
Now I don't have the biggest **** by any stretch and the Recaro seats are very narrow
So if you're a larger fellow then you're not fitting in those seats

Insurance took me to the fair - only £20 more to insure that compared to my old car too which I still can't understand why.
I'm not complaining though
