The time has come to get rid of the 147.
Thismorning i spend 3hours cleaning the carpets in the car and came to the conclusion that as much as i love the car and that i'm willing to spent more money on it to get it sitting perfect it just doesn't make sense at all. Its fragile, the fuel economy is **** and it could be faster.
So what would you's guys recommend? i'm probably looking to spend about £3k on car as i don't see the point of spending any more for a car that goes in and out of belfast everyday and will rack up pretty much very high mileage.
I'm thinking diesel, don't care about speed more interested in comfort but would like it to have a bit of get up and go when needed. oh and if it was reliable and not a magnet for vandalism like the Alfa, it would be great!

odd as it seems as i really love Impreza's i just never see me actually owning/wanting one.
I think I could be tempted with an older shaped Saab 9-3 TiD although the mileage would be slightly on the highside for my price bracket.
