1. I log on regular

2. Tried to inject some humour to the site but obviously my humour was on a different wave length than the people that have the ability to delete posts and mostly lack any sense of humour themselves.
It has also been known for me to stir things up a little bit by not being afraid to say what I think and see.
Now I've mostly stopped posting due to the way numerous individuals have been treated and I shall keep my knowledge and opinions to myself.

So thus far there isn't really much value?

I got banned for not a lot, but I did logon for information

However the bitching was hard to deal with

So for me
1. I can't login

2. I can't get any information locally

If you take a logical look at things Shaun, anyone who actually gives information worth any weight are actually active Scoobynet members ie. Scubbay, so really all your missing out on is the actually craic from the members themselves.

I bet that it was 71/200 (or something like that) that told you that you know nothing about cars

I used to be on very regularly as a moderator.
My methods of deleting the spam and abiding by the stated rules were found to be contrary to their desires as I was castigated and told I was over moderating and picking on certain individuals. If all the triangles and little cliques were stopped at that stage maybe the site wouldnt of turned into a social networking site.
From what ive heard the site has deteriorated rapidly which is sad, but then, when the moderation team only apply rules to certain individuals and have developed a uber-ego then it's not surprising. a certain mod re-iterated the rules of the forum after he and other mods had blatently broken them, but bans members like Shaun for a personal vendetta. now the mods cant be talked about openly??? are they now more valuable than the members who actual make the forum??
Members who gave a valuable contribution have all been driven away such as performance subaru and paul murray. now its replaced by little cliques and those who think they have more knowledge than Jonathon McKearney, Paul Murray or even Rab.
Used to log on for the craic and banter which has been clamped down on and "in the old days" it was a small group of mates but now they appear to think they have over 1200 members!!??!?!
Also liked the technical section as you could occassionally get valuable info from some members as well as advice.
Im not as yet banned but out the enjoyment of the site was removed and as far as im concerned i was throw to the wolves as my face didnt fit in the inner circle, heaven forbid you do the job for the entertainment and fun of it!!

So its all your fault then

Is the above true - Paul Murray doesn't go on anymore?
I knew he did talk jump for a while, but I thought he came back.

Why exactly did Performance Subaru jump?
Did Stewie tell him that he didn't know anything about cars either?

yea think Paul goes on the odd time but more stefan to just sell things, rather than giving advice etc.
performance subaru were pushed in a very childish way from what i heard.
believe on of the mods along with his colleague tried to make a fool out of him on the forum. by using foul means and imho it seems a disgrace. tbh j has forgotton more about scoobys than some will ever know!!!
think it went sour from when stu was told to stop phoning him for free advice lol

lol yea think Rab and I are to blame for trying to run it properly and not giving into those who are after things and out for themselves lol. so we didnt fit in with the "master plan" lol.
from what ive been told its gone downhill since about this time last year.
long gone are the days when it was ALL mates and dor the fun and enjoyment of the marque.

1. Do I log on?

Yes, about once a day

2. Why

To see what people are bitching about me these days?

I log in quite a bit as I do here and an Oz scooby site.
I try to pass on what I have learned from my own mistakes and what I've done right.

I also try to pass on some of my mechanical knowledge but there is always someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars that spouts up.

It has turned into a graveyard as late but I have quite a few good mates on there and here so I like to keep in touch through the site.
