Detailing advice and input.
Well guys since James' thread thought id try to glean a few ideas and some input.
Made a start to doing the car after a quiet winter break.
Washed with megs gold class and mags wool mit.
Dried off by chamois.
Took the big step (for me lol) and clayed the car.
Paint work was pretty stable and must say that its now like glass.
Am just debating what to do next in the detailing phase.
Have purchased the megs 220 and numerous iems of polished bliss.
So ideas lads???
Pi's will follow when the next stage starts lol

next stage is :
Take it out and drive the wheels off it. Much more enjoyable. Track day would be favourite . Honestly all this polishing with 20 products really rags my tits.Wash it once a week, polish it once a month, clay bar once a year is all the doctor ordered.

But as far as my limited Detailing knowledge goes, i love AG SuperResin Polish, easy on and off and leaves a really blooming deep shine.
Did you ever get the Drying clothes of Davy @ Pro-car? if not do it, cheap as chips and are fantastic at their job!

What colour is your car Andy? On my RB5's dark grey colour i found the Werkstatt kit from Polished Bliss to be brilliant....very easy to use and gave a really nice deep gloss on the car.
The Werkstatt kit is available in Arcrylic or Carnuba depending on car colour
Have a look here at Polished Bliss:

Hi Kev.
It's aqua blue in colour, similar to the wr1.
Have the megs 3 step sitting along with high def by auto glym and nattys paste.
Paint doesnt seem swirled so dont really feel the need to hit it with a hard polish but maybe a good waxing and auto glym sealant.
Also have some menzerna final finish which may give it a glossy finish!?
Had noticed the werkstat stuff on pb but wasnt too sure on it, was tempted by the black fire stuff tho!!

I use the Megs 3 step also, but dont own the first 2 steps and just skip to the polish.
I just wash the car weekly and dry it off, use petrol to get rid of the tar spots every 3-4 months, and apply the meguiars polish every 3-4 weeks. A complete wash, dry and quick polish can be done in less than 1 hour.
90% of the time only the top two thirds of the car gets polished, as I dont see the point in polishing the bottom half of the doors, side skirts or rims as nobody ever gets down that close to have a look at them.
Auto glym polish I found was dusty.
Zymol polish even more dusty
Meguiars is just right.... easy put on, easy wiped off
