Default New Scoob

Its a 2006 STI Type UK and had been remapped 8 months ago by Corten-Miller from Boston,Lincs to 361.5 BHP. It had a turbo back Milltek 3" exhaust system, Hyper flow induction kit and Walbro fuel pump. The exhaust has since been replaced with the standard system and so was the air intake, so I am now on the lookout for a full 3" system.
Everything else is standard on the car at the minute, but I have a shopping list developing in my head.
Heres some pics after a good wash and quick polish this afternoon.

Thanks for the comments lads.
Coming along nicely with the shopping list.
Already souced a Hyperflow induction kit.
Ordered an Injen pre-filter sock from Funky Power
Waiting on an HT Autos lower lip spoiler arriving.
Getting a set of 18" rims which will be refurbed to a colour of my choice.
Getting mudflaps by the weekend probably.
Getting a set of Eibach lowering springs also.
Just need an exhaust to make it sound like a proper Scoob.
And a few other smaller items.

Here you go sir, here's some work in progress pics.
Milltek 3" turbo back exhaust fitted and new mudflaps fitted

Hyperflow induction kit fitted and intake relocated to inner wing. Carbon fibre pulley cover fitted

Getting the Tein springs fitted at the minute, also fitted an HT Autos lower lip spoiler

A set of 18" WRC1 Ispiri rims with Pirelli tyres will find their way onto the car this week some time. They were originally gold but I decided to go for a gunmetal grey colour. I sprayed them myself and I'm very happy with the colour and finish.

.
I used the little known spraying technique of balancing the rim on a paint pot and wine bottle. This enabled me to spin the rim easily and get an even coat of spray on the inside of every spoke.(dont laugh, try it some time it works)
No pics yet of the finished rims

I just degreased them with breaker, then a good rub with a sanding block, wiped them with thinners left to dry and started spraying. It might sound simple but the rims were in first class condition with only very very minor scratches and one tiny chip that had to be sanded down. I cringed when I started on the first rim because I knew there was no going back, and it felt like a sin to rub them down and spray them.
I now have them finished in a Honda colour, storm silver.

if ur rubing wheels down and painten them get ur self a good enchin primer so it bits into the alloy then before u prime it gray then u should not get any flaky paint ( only if u have sanded down to the alloy )

good job like what u have down
