Eastwoods stupid prices !!
Now I have always been a fan of Eastwoods in Lisburn, I get on well with the guys and I even got my motor from there, but I went down there to get a quote on some damage (minor dent in the front O/S wing cuased by the Mrs' parking), and that miserable old bugger from the parts counter typed me one up....
£540
WTF are they on?
I then went to Rankin Cook and got quoted £200 (more like it)
I couldn't believe it, and after I gave them my car for an insurance job and said do your worst (Tesco's paid as car was damaged by a trolley)
How about Eastwoods!!

It took a while but I got it.
The story was that my wife was driving through the car park and some muppet (Tesco employee) pushing a load of trolleys with his MP3 player and sunglasses pushed them into the side of the car!!

Are you sure the rankin cook work is good? I've had two bonnets sprayed - One at Eastwoods which looked good as new a year later. One in Auto-Q or whatever you call that place between Dunmurry and Lisburn - Started flaking in a few weeks, went two tone red in 6 months and looked very very ropey within a year

I've had work carried out by Rankin Cook before. He painted the front of my father's silver focus. He got a better match than some of the origional panels. That was 3 years ago, and it still looks good.

Sorry for the confusion, that incident happened a while ago and is already sorted, the damage I need fixing is from the wife having a pushing contest with a concrete bollard!! Not too bad though !!

If you require some other prices, you could try Lisburn motorcycles who are about a mile past Eastwoods towards Moira on the RHS behind the house he has bought. He sells bikes as a sideline and has just moved there from Ravarnet. His main business there was body repair and respraying. Can't remember his name, but he's as straight as a di.
