Default Query about lowering springs...

alright folks just wondering if anyone can give me a little advice...

I'm considering removing the splittler off the front of my car and putting lowering springs in it instead as the splitter is proving to be a pain in the *** at times...

but has anyone heard of the brand "Jamex" ?? Was looking around on ebay and came across these ones that will suit my car...but they are half the price off other ones listed...

Subaru Impreza 1.6/1.8 35mm lowering springs 80.3601 on eBay Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (item 290143974019 end time 27-Aug-07 16:57:21 BST)

would i be better forking out the extra cash and getting a well known brand or would they do the job?

thanks
colin

Have heard of jamex before, maybe youd be better going for Prodrive or Eibach springs, you did notice that the springs are for a 1.6/1.8L model.

I got my new wheels fitted ya see an they don't fill the arch's as much as i'd like...plus the front of the car is very low whilst the back is quite high, and its a pain in the *** having to plan your route to avoid speed ramps even as tesco's at abbeycentre, i can't make it over the ramp, i have to reverse an go back out the other way!
