Havent been speaking to Darren(DMC1980) as yet, but there are some of his times posted on the Jon44w site under general car chat.
Looks as if they held their own until it started to rain late on. I'm sure Darren will post his times when he gets back........

The guys are due home later this evening...
Darren managed 12.50 @ 111mph which beats his PB by over 1.3 seconds, placing him about 31st overall
Neil/BigSInky managed 11.21@120mph which was 6th overall, although unfortunately the head gasket let go before the end of the run, hence the low trap speed...
The car does hold promise for this year though.
Warren managed 12.58@111, which was 36th overall....not bad for an untouched UK engine with 130K on it, with just a few bolt on goodies !!
Not sure about their handling times, but I think most, if not all their runs were done in the wet....it did pour down !!
wet wet wet !!!!!

such a weekend, and a brilliant event even though the weather was crap.
as stevie said, i got a 12.5 @111 which is my new personal best, think i could of got another bit of that if it hadnt of started raining.
A massive thanks to the guys at OMA, they worked really really hard to have the car ready for me, and its brilliant. The car with stood being driven there, 15 runs on the drag strip and 5 times around the handling track, and then driven home. Im over the moon

brilliant darren glad to hear it all went well and congratulations on the time the car must be putting out some nice power with the mods done any idea on bhp or is it a secret lol....any OMA tuned cars seem to keep bhp/torque figures quiet but the times speak for themselves and any ive seen go in the flesh can really shift
im booked on for a service in a few weeks then hopefully bit by bit the mods can start

i know Darren lol, its the only car ive bought that i really want to do the mods on guess its coz i know it has good potential as all my other cars before were NA and didnt put a smile on my face the way the scoob does
So far ive bought a new walbro 255(as a local fella was selling it) and im contemplating a VF35 turbo from the same fella if its still available, need a downpipe for it too hopefully michael will have some in stock soon
i promised myself i would only get a full decatted exhaust/panel filter and remap and thats it but that plan is clearly out the window now looks like ive been bitten by the tuning bug lol
I would love around a real 330bhp eventually

Managed a new pb of 12.23@114mph, 23rd in the drag racing. Really happy with my times. But depressed when i realised that if i want to go faster, i'm gonna have to build a proper engine, and wave goodbye to my 5-speed gearbox. Like DMC said, welcome to the moneypit.
