Default ECUTEK ???

im looking to get my car remapped..i was told seing as its a version 6(late 99) that the ecu can be mapped..is there anywhere in ireland where id be able to get an ECUTEK??? to save me buying a new ecu and how much am i looking at..also is it worth my while in terms of perfomance gain seen as i only have a full de-cat and panel filter??

yes it can be mapped, but no idea about ireland, think there used to be a company called OMA (heard the name on scoobyshoot out dvd) but no idea if there any good or even if there still in business

im sure there has to be someone maybe up north that can do it..the car needs to be mapped soon as ive no choice but to run her on 95ron..my mate just blew his type r because of this..

maybe a trip to the uk is required.

i know pat herborn travels all over the world mapping but it aint cheap to get him over there

i wouldnt mind travelling to be honest..its only a boat trip..il have to look at my options...cheers mate..

The ISDC have got Andy Forrest over 3 times in the last year or so to map nearly 30 cars to date.There will be another session but dont know when yet.

OMA number can be sourced via stevieturbo or big sinky.

the number is on the side of my car for all to see mate. there are plenty of pictures on various sites of both mine and Michal's car. if you need the number just PM me.

andy forest is coming to dublin this weekend to map my sti i think somoene has pulled out if you have cash there might be chance for you if not he may be back over next year
