Was anybody else in Lurgan Park today to enjoy the fine sunny weather ? What a bad day ! I stood at the top of a Welsh mountain last November at the ROGB and I didn't get as cold or wet ! But it was worth it all to see Gwyndaf Evans show Mc Garrity , etc. how to drive a WRC . He was pure magic . The worse the weather got the better he got . The only thing that let the day down was the amount of group N evos there . Out of an entry of 35 cars , 9 were gp N evos . They are boring as hell to watch and I heard a lot of other spectators remarking the same . I they want to put on a spectacle there should be either more top gp A entries or preferably more RWD mk 2 escort type stuff . Eugene Donnelly and Glenn Allen drove the crowd wild with some spectacular driving .
Sorry for ranting on but I would get more excitement watching snail racing than those evos .
