Just got this message from Philip ISDC Chairperson. One of our club members unfortunately.
Hi guys,
It turns out last night's carjacking was a club member that i won't name right now. The poor chap was flashed from behind
from a Volvo.He thought it was the police and stopped. When he rolled down the window they
grabbed the keys and hit him in the face. One of the guys had his hand behind his back.Who knows
what weapon he was concealing. One jumped into his car,the other got back into the Volvo and they
sped off. The Volvo was found burnt out this morning and his Scooby was found in Maynooth. The
two scumbags had been spotted the previous day in Tipperary. Rory is ok but shook. He has a
number of stitches to his face and although the car seems to be ok he is a bit iffy about
wanting it back. Can't say I blame him.
Be careful out there,it's getting scary!!
