Subaru at the Odyssey

Im sure most of you are aware that the SWRT are coming to the Odyssey for a motorshow soon. The organisers have almost confirmed a section for the cars to do sprints on competing against the local drivers. Should be very interesting to see.

It's the weekend of 12/13th december
There is a motorshow in the odyessey and Donnelly are hosting an urban stages rally on the open ground just to the side. I believe there will be works cars there but no works drivers.

There is a motorshow at the Kings Hall in January 2004 also ( there was a rally stage at it last year ) Anyone feel an over kill of motorshows hitting Northern Ireland??

There are lots of shows. Too many, with little content worth seeing.
They are all profittering, as genrealy it seems ther is always a massive turnout.
I cant remember what the last one I went to was, though it was at the Kings Hall a few months ago. There were rally cars flying about outside, and generally I was quite impressed by the show. There was a good selection of older cars inside too, with even the Back to the Future Delorean. It all made the show a little different to others I had been to.
If only I could say the same about others I have been to. I dont even bother going now, as you can guess that most will be crap. I dont see 4play being any better this year.

Blimey the local shows must have improved recently if you can compare the Brum/London motor shows to anything offered locally!
Personally I'd rather make a weekend out of a mainland show than even waste the money driving to Belfast to see less of a selection than I'd see on the roads for free!
OOPS! Nearly forgot Jordan will be at the Gadget show thing, well **** me if that ain't the most exciting thing I've ever heard!

I agree the local shows are full of Corsa/Saxo/106/Focus all with body kits,.. yawn.
All show, no go.
A few exceptions I admit but it is the exception not the norm

Wouldn't try to compare Birmingham motor/sport shows to Belfast shows but I know there is a sound off competition this weekend and I'm in the market for some new ice so ideas and the chance to speak to various companies sales people is a very tempting offer.

Seems to be rather too many shows in these areas at the minute, the problem with that is it is always the same people and cars in attendance, and it gets boring...
I have been asked to attend 3 different shows this week alone burn out IMO !!

The last show Belfast and Furious (stupid name noone seemed to know what it was about) left a lot of exhibitors with a bad taste in their mouth, cause the crowds that were expected didn’t turn out and, stands at these shows aren’t cheap unless you’re a club !!

There was a modified car show on at the Odyssey over the weekend. It was good but nothing fantastic. Good to see Jonathan from Performance Subaru there. I have a few photos I must put up.......

Full report here if you can ignore the big exhausts and 1 litre engines

Ok, second last picture, girls standing naked but for a couple of strings, what the f**k is wrong with all the lads, they are all looking the other way?
And I thought us Irish were a horny bunch!

Apologies to those lads, I've just seen the head of the dark girl behind blondie, maybe she was wearing nothing! It seems like they were looking at a woman after all.
