Route to the ring

Which route are people taking to the ring as im a ring virgin would i be able to tag along with some of you also have room for a passenger no back seats im afraid

Dont panic m8, Matt Oz is leading a group, others are also splitting off. I will find you at the Tunnel and introduce you to a few faces, most important one being Matt OZ cause he is the leader !!!!!

p.s Theres a meet on Wednesday at the Woodman, Sevenoaks if ya interested in a bit of a drive.

More than welcome to follow me. It's a very simple route, 80% of which is motorway. Cruising at 85-90 all the way in order to accomadate the "slower" cars in the group.
Look out for the Grey Skyline at the Tunnel and pop over to introduce yourself.

Im with Mr Askew, i didnt wear one last year, then Rich came round with me and explained the reason why (Thanks), not worth the risk IMHO. I will be wearing mine as will my G/f and mate.

OK, as a fall back, here are my directions to the ring from Calais. They work!!! If you get lost, use these and you will get there.
Directions to Nurburgring
Accumulative Mileage reset the odo Place
0 Calais, Out of Calais over the bridges on A16
3.2 Turn off for fuel. Down to roundabout 3rd exit see station on right. Back onto Al6 towards Dunkerque.
5.3 Left hand lane for Lille
5.6 Stay in left hand lane to E60/A16 Lille
25.7 Turn off right for A25 Lille
69.5 Follow all directions A25
71 Right hand ianes towards Valenciennes
72 Stay in right hand lane to Liege E42
80 Cross the Belgium border. Look for signs towards Mons
86 Right hand lane for Liege
110 Services (stop and place your feet on Belgium soil ;-))
126.7 Right hand lane for Liege E42
190 middle lane E42 Prum
200 Final fuel stop
207 Right hand lane E42, keep right head for SPA
245 German border
256.5 Single carriageway
255 Dual carriageway
256 Turn off for Prum. Beware twisty road (its cool from here on!)
270 Gerolstein on 410
271 Across two roundabouts. Straight through a set of traffic lights. Over bridge. Through two more sets of lights.
274 First Nurburgring signpost (wooooohooooooooooo hahaha)
279 Right at roundabout in Dries. (then take a left shortly afterwards, there is a road sign, behind you!!! you can see it going the other way!) Beware hairpin shortly afterwards
Z86 Kelberg. Left at lights signposted 8Km to ring on 257
289 Turn right at roundabout in Mullenbach.
200m turn left at T-junction
291 Turn right, go under GP bridges
292 Turn left to Nurburg
295 After Nurburg, at roundabout turn right into car park of the ring.
Turn round and head back into Nurburg, find the nearest Bar!! LOL
