Default Spa & Nurburgring August b/h weekend

A few of us have booked the MLR trackday at Spa for Monday 28th August. We are planning to go out early on maybe the Thursday or Friday and take in the Nurburgring on Saturday/ Sunday before going to Spa - as they are only about 50 miles apart.

If you're interested then post your name on this thread and keep an eye on it to see how it develops. I expect the MLR tickets to sell out pretty quickly. The Spa trackday is £149 for MLR members and £169 for non members - book here

We may also be able to arrange ferry and hotel bookings.

Cheers

Terry

Dunno yet mate. The 1st thing you need to do is book the Spa trackday on the MLR. We'll worry about other details at a later date.

I may have more details after 6th Feb

Cheers

Dazzer - Spa is a must too - have you seen it in action - probably THE best track to drive in the world.

Of course the Ring is too

Nice one Stuart

Chris - you could always take your family holiday to Belgium and then happen to come across us all by chance

As much as I would like to try that terry, I'm sure the wife would cotton on to it as I packed my helmet and driving shoes

Will aim to meet MRK, Roger at the Ring me thinks Prague is just that little bit to far.

Yeah, I agree with you there Stormy.

Let's save our money for a 12-lap ticket on the Ring and a wicked time at Spa. Oh and a few beers in the evening of course

Also how about getting the ferry back on the Tuesday, rather than Monday? So we don't have to rush back after Spa?

Cheers

Guys what if the ring is not open at that time? New calender is not due for release until end of feb, and august is a busy time for other events at the ring?

Need to back to work as I dont have much leave left would aim for the 23:00
ferry for a relaxed journey back.

Saw your estimated costs Terry so looks like car will have to stay as it is till next year:-)

Appreciate that mate, but it is a bank holiday weekend and so I'm hoping it will be a big public access weekend. Spa is booked for the 28th anyhow - so will have to wait and see if we can do the Ring too

Obviously costs assume the Ring is open too.

23:00 ferry could be an option too. I'll just sleep all day the following day

I didnt see rain in 7 trips last year

I tell a lie it rained the day I got there once, but I hadn;t picked my car up from Ring racing so it was irrelevant.

Hi Peeps!

Looks like re-union No2

A few of us are probably arriving at Cochem on the Wed (beautiful wee town neat The Ring) and staying Wed, Thu & Fri nights for some quiet mid-week laps and a bit of W/E carnage/motorbikeage then heading through to the Tuners show at Spa on the Saturday for Sat, Sun & Mon nights - can't wait

We're sailing Rosyth -> Zebrugge btw... Prague is too far away for this particular trip - just sticking to The Ring & Spa

Cheers
