Cool Cheap ferry to Le Mans

Some fellow scooby nuts and me are off to Le Mans again this year. Just seeing if any one wants to save themselves a small fortune on the ferry crossing, and come down with us. We are going from Portsmouth to le Harve Thursday June 16th on an early crossing, and coming back Sunday night. It’s a fantastic long weekend and a great drive there and back. If I can get 10 cars then it is possible to get a return crossing for £240 per car, this includes 2 passengers (you can take more people if you want), which is very cheap for this crossing. If you would be interested let me know as I need to get it booked ASAP. Have 6 so far but the more the merrier. Camping is about £30 to £40 per tent. Track tickets about £40 if you just want to book tickets with me for the ferry and do your own thing that’s fine. If you book this trip off your own back it will cost you in the region of £400 for the ferry, so it makes sense to come in on this.

Have done the Portsmouth - Caen overnight a couple of times and the tunnel crossing tree times as well, both are ok, yes you have a long run with the tunnel but that is part of the fun ... believe me !!
Thing with the overnighter you must get a cabin, the reclining seats are no good to neither man nor beast. Not really sure what they were made for but is definitely not sleeping.
Also the trying not to get too p1ssed because you are driving in the morning is a bit of an issue as well, that’s why you need a cabin to have a couple of hours sleep and a decent shower (the last for many days !!)

Thing is also, have you sorted the camping permits ??.... they are like gold dust or you pay through the nose from one of the ticket agency's

Camping outside the circuit is always available and tickets are no problem. If like me you're a lazy ******* and want to camp next to the grandstand you need to book early.
