Sept.11; Ride for terminally ill Jesse (Netherlands).
On September 11, the Subaruclub Netherlands (SCN) will have a meeting taking place near Rotterdam.
The club has received an e-mail from the mother of a terminally ill 9 year old boy named Jesse.
Jesse (one of three children) is terminally ill and probably has only a few years left to live. One of his cravings is Subaru Impreza.
Therefore his mother asked via email whether anyone was interested in driving him and his two brothers around.
And indeed the Dutch Impreza-drivers were interested!
On September 11, about 121 impreza's (number is increasing further as we speak) will gather to drive him, his family and a few friends around. There will be a showoff parade, and Jesse will probably receive some gifts etc.
It'll be mostly GC turbo imprezas and WRX's, and also some STI-versions attending and Evo's.
Anyone from the UK interested ???
You can read all about it on the dutch forum (I've prepared an English topic there; will update with more time&location details, etc.).

We would be pleased to see some international guests also. If you care to leave comments, you can do so in the English topic (or below this topic of course). If you care to join us on Sept.11, please leave your name here

Jon,
There will be a number of Belgian attendants also.
Maybe if you visit http://www.subaruclub.nl/forum/viewforum.php?f=34
and post your own topic with an idea on where to gather (for example near the Belgian/Netherlands border at Hazeldonk )
Marcel
PS the number of Impreza's is now at 134 !!!

Unfortunately I already have plans for that weekend and given the short notice I can't cancel, otherwise I would have been there!
This is a great cause and there's been an amazing response from the subaru communities of all nationalities to help this boys dream come true! I hope he and his family have a fantastic day and look forward to seeing some of the pictures!
