Hey guys, are there any known issues with dash rattles in the pre facelift classic?? Mine is driving me nuts! Sounds like something on the bulkhead but I can't find anything loose!

My 98 car rattles like someone chucked a bag of marbles down there

It's all to do with the fantastic build quality.

 

Yeah I'm considering ripping my dash out and getting some sound deadening in there to quiet it down...

 

I've gone so far as to consider spraying it solid with expanding foam...I reckon that's what it would take.

 

Then it would just creak!

 

Oh ****! It really is a widespread problem then!

Might pull it out for a look. I had the centre, clocks and bottom off while I've been wiring a few things up but I didn't notice anything loose.

Anyone stuck a facelift dash in a pre facelift?
