Guy's have any of you used suede type material to upholster the plastic dash. I've never done this before but I'm toying with having ago as I need a new project. Don't want to do flock as most people complain that it comes off easily.
What is the best type of material to use, what glue will I need and what's the corner techniques/advice. Classic dash removal isn't a problem.
Feel free to post pictures of your handy work and make me drool, Steve

You need real alcantara and it's not cheap but the benefits of it are hard wearing, glue dose not come through it like cheap stuff
Depending on dash it might need to have bits sewn in this aids in it fitting snug and not forcing it into shape as if it is can lift in high temps
Trimming a dashboard right with stitching can look classy but on the right cars, subarus are better flocked to me as its a rally thing lol
Hope this helps
