Help guys with uk2000 seats

Default Help guys with uk2000 seats

I've bagged some tidy rb5 front seats they look lovely , I am trying to fit hawk Sti rear bench seat to match up with fronts , the backrest seems 2 sit to high and u can c about 2inch of the foam through back window looks kinda dumb any advice guys ?

Cheers , after a couple of hours work I am very happy to say that they will go in , had to adjust the brackets by quite a bit but happy with results :-)

I can see others wanting to do this. We've always thought they don't fit, so how about posting how you did it?

Wast easy the 2 bars that hold top of the back rest got hammer on them they bend quite easy moved them up about inch n half then back rest will with a bit of effort clip into place & drop down low enough so sits rite not showing any foam from back window view

Bottom half same again just bent the 2 bottom brackets to line up with existing bolt holes then bolt em in simples !

As mine is a uk 2000 it had the split rear seats so bit of plywood and some dark carpet then the hole has gone that went tho into boot

Big improvement and quite easy to do now onto the next mod does it ever stop !

get a bit of auto carpet and roll it into a long roll and stuff it between seat and shelf job done gap gone

You really need to get hold of a bracing bar that bolts across the middle of the rear seats, they need the support, not sure if they are even safe without?
