Can 4 door classic seats be made to fit the folding type r base?

I am thinking about using some MY98 WRX seats to replace my type front seats. Now, can I take them apart easily and use them on the type r seat frames?

I can't give you a definitive answer, but I can see it being do-able, just maybe not easy. I somehow doubt Subaru made completely different seats.

Where is the seat tip lever? That might be a stumbling block.
