MY2000 Classic door cards - re-trimming
How easy is it to re-trim the classic door panels from a MY2000.
I have them out of the car and just want to retrim the material panel sections?
I hoped they would detach from the rest of the card, but no such luck, they seem to be part of the door.
If I pull the material off is it relatively easy to stick new material on and get it looking professional?
Or is this a job best left to the pros. If so anyone good in the Manchester area who won't charge the earth?

You could find an upholsterer via www.yell.com, then let him have a look?
He would tell you if it's do-able, plus give you a price.
What were you going to replace it with? Tory blue silk? Or Labour red cotton? LOL

Just want them to match the seats
It is doable as have seen it done on here, but no one on here managed it themselves I think... or not that I can find.... would really like to do it myself... just for the fun of it more than anything. Given that no one else seems to have done it themselves though I am wondering if it is beyond me even though I am pretty practical!

Buy some cheap door cards to practice on Chris.
Fairly sure Sticky-Micky redid his door cards, I know for sure that he trimmed his dash, in Alcantara IIRC.
