Default Problem with gauges

Anyone had any problems with prosport gauges?
I just bought scooby and they had been previosly fitted now the oil temp gauge is spinning everywhere and the backing light is flickering.
Removed but all wires and plugs are very small.
Faulty gauge or wires?anyone know?

Have you got a good earth, especially on the sender. Mine was supposed to earth itself through the union but the PTFE tape compromised that and I had to add a ring connector and earth it separately

Flickering almost certainly means wiring issue
