Default Boost gauges

Looking for a pillar pod boost gauge but I'm new to it all can anyone recomend me one for my 05 sti? Thanks preferably in psi I've seen cheap ones about but really don't know the difference between the deer ones apart from the obvious

There's no such thing as a pillar pod boost gauge. There are boost gauges and there are pods, where you put your gauge is up to you. Steering column, on top of dash, pillar pod, inside one of the airvents, etc etc.

Look at one which is accurate, has colour and backlighting to match the car, and fits your pocket. I'd say Defi, but that may not fit the last point

Yea I didn't say that properly but you get my just ha, what about the gredy ones ? I take it the defo ones are as accurate as you can get ?

Ok so got a prosport premium boost gauge to mount on my A pillar .... The power lead looks really short where do most people tap in to power for this or can you extend the lead in anyway?

The search function on this site is terrible not like any other site ive used.

Do a search for "prosport" "fitting"

Type it as you see it, if you include the hyphens as shown then it will do a search based around those words

Answered this on the other thread. Buy some lengths of wire, and some heat-shrink tubing.
Solder extra lengths on and heat-shrink some tubing round it.

If you aren't good at soldering, a quick way is to splice the wires together, wrap about 1cm of solder round it, then heat it with the iron until it melts.

Ref 11: 25p per metre plus P&P any colour you like in 1m lengths.
Will be quicker delivery than the above.
