Default Newage steering wheel into a Type R

Does anyone have a wiring diagram (if any difference) for changing the OEM Momo steering wheel with a MY05 STi one?

Cheers

I was going to start a new thread but this topic's close enough for me to hijack. I've done a search but not been able to find an answer, I'd like to put a classic facelift Momo airbag steering wheel (from a 1999/2000ish age car) into my 1997 turbo 2000. Mine is a very early facelift model, so although it has the later front end and white/black bucket seat interior, it still has the horrible old standard Subaru airbag wheel.

So that's swapping one of these:

For one of these:

I'm guessing the splines will be the same as they all seem to be advertised as fitting 1993 - 2000 cars, I just wanted to check the airbag connector didn't change, or if it did is there an adaptor or is it possible to wire the new airbag in properly?

Cheers!

Can't help with the air bag question, but, the wheel should fit straight on spline wise.

I've just fit the same one to my early car.

AFAIK, no change to airbag wiring.

Take it off and report what you have on both........

I might have to, was hoping somebody might already know but I'll take a gamble, I've just got to get rid of that horrible old one!
