Interior, Wiring & Installation help needed!
Hi guys,
I am in the process of changing my 1994 wagon interior, to that of a version 5 sti interior.
Currently I have the dash out, doorcards and seats out and am awaiting info.
The help I need is this :
When swapping the dashboard around, do i need a late model wiring loom to make it run? if yes, does it need to be from the car the loom from? or could it be a any facelift impreza?
Also, Do i also need the ECU from the car the loom is coming from? or will it run on my current wrx ecu.
Help much appreciated as I want the upgrade interior and have an inner shell at the ready
Please can someone list everything I require to upgrade my interior to a facelift model, that way I can get it all at the same time, and start rebuilding it!
Cheers in advance,
Neil

OK then.
It would be easier to buy a V5 STi Wagon.
It's pretty much a different car apart from the general shape. The ECU's are totally different, the engines are different as is the heater set up etc etc, the list goes on.
If you have a V5 donor STi then it's pretty much everything swapped over.

That's the beauty of it the fact it isn't a v5 sti. I think you earn more respect with a challenge this. Buying a v5 wagon is just to easy!
