Default Version 8 Seats into Type R?

Is it possible to put a version 8 interior into a type R but still retain the slide an tilt function of the front seats? Has anyone done this. I haven't really had a proper look but wondered do the bottom frames from the seats just bolt off an swap straight over?

They are a straight fit, but beware if you're tall forget it!

The seats are much taller and you will sit alot higher up. I hated them and swapped back to the original ones.

What about the slide an tilt function can you retain this? Also I'm assuming the back bench seats are direct replacement too?

Is it the seat base thats higher or the seat mounting bracket being taller?

Could they not be mounted lower in the car if the type R mounts were used or is that not possible?

I've read lots of posts from people saying the same as Daz, the seats sit too high.

Never seen anyone remedy it, though, I'm sure if it was do-able, Daz would have done it

To clarify the whole seat including the sliding rails will fit its just that the seat itself is alot taller.

As has been said if I couold have sorted it I would have but it wasnt worth doing. The Classic seats are also far more comfortable.
