Default AVCR positioning ???

Hi chaps, I've got a Apexi AVCR fitted to my car and at the moment it's stuck down ( with the little stand ) near my gear leaver. I hate it there and was hoping a few of you could give me some opinions on better placement. Where have you got yours fitted etc.
Pictures would be great too.
My car is a 97 STI V3 so has the old style dash.

Thanks, Matt.....

That looks really good buddy.
I think I'll give that a go. Thanks mate.

PS, how did you hold the AVCR in position to stop it falling out or through the hole ?

The hole is the perfect size for the AVCR not to fall through so i just put a little double sided tape to hold it in position,it has never fallen out of position yet mate.

Here's mine, used a single din pocket to mount it, then bought some plastic blanking panel and trimmed it to cover the side bits.
