Been folowing Chiark's destruction for the boost gauge everything is in.. But where the hell do i take the boost reading from in the engine bay. The defi stuff says cut the fuel pressure regulator hose ( don't even know where this is ). Does the MY01 not have a " spare " output from the manifold ?
Help pictures descriptions link's now it's in the car i need to see it read somthing !
Thanks in advance

Try this link, I had the same problem when fitting my boost gauge. It works a treat.

Question

Is this the only place to connect - I certainly haven't connected the defi gauge there and it seems to work a treat? I will get a photo of where I've connected to compare and post.

there are plenty of places to cennect it, but the general concensus seems to be that this is the easiest and gives the most stable reading.

Question

does anyone fancy contributing to a set of instructions for defi boost gauge fitting for the MY01- covering electrics and engine work? Having fitted one last w/e with column mount and found the suppled instructions less than ideal I wondered if this would be a useful resourse?
