Smile Seat upolstry removal?

Is it possible to remove the origional seat covers in my 1999 uk turbo?
They look like they zip off and so, I wondered if I could wash them, they sure neeed it, lol.

I was wondering about this too I've tried using fabric cleaners etc but they seem to leave a residue.

Anyone ever tried this?

I've heard of it, but apparently getting them BACK on is a PITA............

They are glued in middle so you would need to re glue or they will look pants

I thought about taking mine off too but to put other covers on as I've got a crappy blue cloth, it's like something from the 70s, or try and get another interior
