I have a UK 96 Scooby which has the grey leather interior but standard non-sports seats.

I want to fit some Recaro leather covered seats, but having asked a main Subaru dealership near Reading, they told me this wasn't possible, and that I'd have to buy 2 standard seats and get them re-covered. V Expensive.

This lunchtime I was out walking in central london, when a dark blue scooby 5 door drove past near Carnaby street which had, yes you've guessed it, leather recaros.

Does anyone know who stocks these, or where I might be able to get more info from?

I also have grey leather seats in my series McRae but they are recaros. Is your a McRAE? or are they normal seats

Sadly they are normal seats, that's why I want to upgrade them 8(

Phoned Recaro who say that they don't do the sports seat in a grey leather, so I might be looking at a recover job by someone to get them in the grey.

Managed to get the address of my local Recaro dealer though, so will go and have a chat with them on the weekend. (any excuse to give the scooby a good run out ;-)

You could try Autotech design, they are based in Surrey about 60 miles from you. They recover seats in leather and even have pics of a impreza with a grey leater seats !
