Unhappy

I spent ages trying to get the same.

In the end I have bought a gauge and removed one of the vents and placed it in the vent hole.

Still not sure whether to do the other vent and put another gauge, or gauges in.

I heard a rumour that Nito was trying to develope a pod etc..
see his banner ad. Also Hanslow on here was trying to do something similar in his car... haven't heard how he got on though.

Cheers

Cool

Ain't done it yet mate

Although it will be for a MY00, shouldn't be much different to a pre facelift model.

Will be taking out the two centre vents and replacing them with some thick plasticard and mounting 3 x 52mm gauges and a 5 LED AFR meter as well. Two of the gauges will be arriving this week, with one more to follow by the end of the month (being imported from the states through Mook / MJDesigns on here).

I'm hoping to make a serious start on how it looks this weekend (time permitting). Won't be fully fitting it all until I have all the gauges but I should be able to take a photo of how they will look once fitted.

It's taking ages to get everything planned and get all the bits I need, but it should be worth it in the end. The total cost to have Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Boost, and the AFR (see the DIY thread in Drivetrain), plus the Plasticard and the threaded screw for the No 3 Piston, all comes to about 120 quid, and a lot of time

I'll post more details once I get started on it properly. If you want more gauge information, speak to Mook on here or get in touch via http://www.mjdesignsuk.com. I've gone for the splitfire gauges which you can look at at www.splitfire.com, I've gone for the silver ones, not the black ones.

it but i think it will look nice.
