Default Subaru Boost Gauge Removal

Right... I'm hoping someone may have an answer....

I'm about to fit some gauges in my 03 STi but can't for the life of me work out how to remove the original Subaru gauge.

Any ideas?

Hi there.

You need to remove the steering column surround.

2 or 3 screws hold it in, from the underside.

The lower half will unclip and be removed, the top half will catch on the instrument panel surround.

Inside(if you can maneuver it) you will see two screws and a metal plate behind the boost gauge 'stalk'.

The screws screw from the underside of the column surround, use the metal plate as a brace, through the surround and into the boost gauge holder.

Once you remove it, you will be left with 2 holes where it used to be.

Hope that helps
