Default wiring gauges

Hi all. help needed.
On the back of my 3 autogauges i have 1 orange cable 1 red and one black cable what do they fit too and what do they do? The gauges are boost, volts and oil temp.
the car is a 05 wrx. if anyone has pics would help.
just wont to get power and illumination to them.thanks

You will probably find that the black is an earth, the red a permanent live and the orange a switched feed for dimming the lights when you put your headlights on

Thats briiliant, on the back of my gauges though which iam confused is at the top back it has a red black and orange cable and at the bottom it has it has another red and black cable. Iam confused where the hell they go and what they are for and connect too. Which is power top or bottom. help would be appreciated
