Intend fitting my boost gauge in the air vent in the middle of the dash.. or looking into the possibility of...

Before I break it, does the vent cover come out just with a screw driver gently prizing and in the left or right hand side? near where it hinges?

Cheers for any advice..

Take the 4 screws out of the vent facia "on MY95" 2 at the bottom and 2 buy the heater controls then you can get to the clips behind the vents i had to do this when i fitted a phone holder and the vent poped out !!

I did it last night before reading your reply Huxley but thanks for the help.

I had to remove the two screws one above the left heater control and one about the right heater control and then just pull on the cover and the whole surround including the vents come out.

The vents can then be unscrewed and removed from the back to the cover.

Just incase someone else needs to know.

Cheers
