It would appear my 1994 Impreza Turbo 2000 does not have speedo/rev needles that light up. I've had the blue light conversion which looks good but I find it really hard to see the needles at night.
Anyone if i can fit "light up" needles to my classic?

only mod on mine is blue bulbs and white backgrounds, i just struggle to see the needle at night! are the needles lighting up on there?
I was wondering if i could fit needles of another model with LED?

No they don't light up. They're just painted in a not very luminous dark red-orange paint, and that coupled with very low contrasting black dials and inadequate lighting is a PITA... especially the small petrol and temp gauges tucked into the corners.
Two options:
1) Carefully remove the 4 needles and paint them white, or even better, a luminous white (or other light colour).
2) Thing is, if you were going to consider 1), then you may as well get the Lockwood white dial kit (cheaply off eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WHITE-LOCKWOOD-UK-Subaru-Impreza-Turbo-WRX-Dial-Kit-NEW_W0QQitemZ370090236501QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item3 70090236501&_trkparms=39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A15|240%3A 1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14)... The white dials will then contrast well with the the OEM dark red-orange needles.... plus look groovy to boot
.
BTW, you can also get the Lockwood heater dial plate http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lockwood-WHITE-Dial-Kit-for-Subaru-Impreza-Heater-Panel_W0QQitemZ120310065144QQcmdZViewItem?hash=ite m120310065144&_trkparms=39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A15|240% 3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 for a proper coordinated dial set.

lockwood burnin thru the night....
my dials on the terz are green, and as far as i can tell its a green film behind so cant change the colour,
dammit, but then again i dont want to swerve too far away from original so il just have to lump it i guess
agree - white luminescent paint will be fab for that job it will look the nuts
