Sound deadning
I have a 3" bore and a 5"backbox made by Cobra
Its a bit mental in car
If i put a reducer in the backbox would it quiet it for long journeys
OR do i sound deadin the boot etc
The boot carpet is non existent as a battery spilt on it an fooked it so there isnt one in it. I have the old one but it looks like a tramps trousers
Any help would be great

If you haven't got a carpet in the boot it'll be a lot more boomy and noisy. You should be able to get a carpet to fit from a breakers, if it's a classic I doubt the boot lining ever changed, so there's loads out there. If you really want to reduce noise, you can buy pour on or stick on sound deadener.
