I think that these are the gauges that i am after for my 95 wrx, are they the ones that fit above the stereo, if so what size are the gauges. Does anyone know of any other companies who do gauges of this size.

Hi,

Yes, the STI pod do exist. I ordered a genuine pod from MRT. It takes 46 mm gagues. I did also order gauges from HKS for it (www.hksusa.com).

Iain,
yummy, I like that 'pod'

don't suppose you have a pic of it out of it's resting place? just curious to see what it's construction is like.

What size gauges are they?

I have MY94 WRX Wagon and have a-pillar pod with boost gauge but would love a set of Defi's (guess 52mm ones) but nowhere to put em, hence one of these things would be cool.

just wondering if it's just a fascia thing, or actual cage type thing. Was wondering if I could just get a thick, say 10 - 20 mm, of 'something' plastic I guess, drill out holes and mount gauges.

Iain,

Just went to Subaru dealer. Did you have to buy the whole pod pack in order to get the plastic around the gauges?

Cheers

Guys,
The gauges are temp, boost and volts.
The boost gauge is mechanical and the temp gauge is electrical and the volts gaugeis err electrical .
Boost gauge is spot on it peaks at 0.9 bar which is right for my car. They are Lamco gauges and as Ninja pointed out as a Subaru upgrade these would add over £700 to the cost of the car.

The pod is a u shaped piece of metal with holes cut in it (I think it is in 2 pieces).
I am selling my set if anybody is interested.

Cheers
Iain
Edited to say
The gauges are 46mm, I don’t think that the defi’s would fit in there. The only quality gauges I have seen in this size are HKS and they were around £240 a gauge, bloody good gauges, but bloody expensive.
